The treat maker behind Sweet Setup™

Hi, I'm Laura — the owner and CEO behind Sweet Drips & Drizzles.

As someone who built a luxury dessert business while balancing a full-time career, family life, and custom orders, I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel trying to manage everything through DMs, scattered notes, and constant back-and-forth messages.

As a treat maker and baker myself, I spent years watching incredibly talented treat makers and bakers delay putting real systems in place because they felt intimidated by technology or assumed creating a professional setup would take hours, days, or even weeks to build.

I was there too.

That's exactly why I created Sweet Setup.

I wanted to remove the stress, hesitation, and anxiety that so many treat makers and bakers feel when it comes to getting organized online. I wanted something simple, beautiful, professional, and built specifically for our industry — not a generic form builder that doesn't understand the way treat makers and bakers actually sell.

This app truly is my baby. 💜

Every feature was created with intention and with treat makers and bakers in mind. And honestly — we're just getting started.

Sweet Setup™ is a software-as-a-service platform that helps treat makers and bakers create custom order forms, menus, and related business tools. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any associated credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
• Upload content that is harmful, deceptive, harassing, or infringes on others' rights
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Impersonate any person or business
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or attempt to bypass security measures

5. Intellectual Property

Our IP: The Service, including its name, logo, design, code, content templates, and underlying technology, is the exclusive property of Sweet Setup™ and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your business purposes only.

Your IP: You retain ownership of all content you create and upload to the Service (your menu, branding, customer data, photos, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and process your content solely as needed to provide the Service to you.

Customer data: Order information collected through forms you create belongs to you. We process it on your behalf as a service provider.

6. Subscription and Payment

If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees on the schedule indicated at sign-up. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion and may not apply to partial periods.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Sweet Setup™ is a tool. We are not responsible for the business decisions you make using it, the accuracy of pricing recommendations, or the success of your bakery business. Pricing calculators, marketing templates, and similar features are educational starting points, not financial or business advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sweet Setup™, its founders, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Essex County, New Jersey.

Sweet Setup™ ("we," "us," "our") is a software platform for treat makers and bakers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

From bakers (account holders):

• Email address (for order alerts and account communication)
• Business information you choose to provide (business name, tagline, city, logo)
• Form configuration data (your menu, prices, custom items, brand colors)
• Usage information (which features you use, login activity)

From your customers (people who fill out your order forms):

• Name and contact email
• Order details (treats selected, quantities, occasion, pickup date, special notes)
• Anything else you choose to ask for in your custom form

Automatically collected:

• Browser type, device type, IP address (for security and basic analytics)
• Cookies and similar technologies (see section 7)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Send you order alerts and account-related communications
• Respond to support inquiries
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues
• Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT sell your personal information. We do not share your customers' data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Service Providers We Use

We use trusted third-party services to operate Sweet Setup™. They may process some of your data on our behalf:

• Supabase — database hosting (your form configuration and orders)
• Resend — sending order alert emails
• Netlify — web hosting
• Stripe (when subscriptions are live) — payment processing

These providers have their own privacy policies and security practices. We choose providers known for strong privacy standards.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Order data submitted through your forms is kept for as long as your account is active so you can refer back to it. If you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information ("right to be forgotten")
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent at any time

If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please note that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, secure database hosting, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
